Handcrafted Furniture

Acclaimed photographer Javier Gomez and B. Pila design recently announced that they have partnered up to present statement pieces that apply select works from two of Gomez’s series to the furniture designer’s signature silhouettes. Premiere pieces have been unveiled at MAISON&OBJET Americas The V.I.P Experience at Wynwood Lab experiential showroom and remain on display throughout the duration of the show.

“Our inspirations and philosophies are uncannily aligned, applied in different, yet such complementary mediums,” says Principal Bea Pila of the partnership. “It was incredible to embark on this creative process with Javier to add a cultural quality to our furnishings and a usability to his photographic art.
